Paymon is a passionate advocate who thrives in “David and Goliath” cases, taking great pride in standing up to a large corporation or government entity on behalf of someone who has been wronged. He has helped recover millions of dollars in cases involving personal injury, product defects, wrongful death, government liability, sexual abuse, civil rights, employment and business litigation. Paymon founded Wave Law Firm, APC to focus on personal injury matters.

Paymon frequently writes and speaks on various legal topics. Paymon has participated in numerous civil trials involving catastrophic injuries. In the summer of 2019, Paymon helped to obtain a seven-figure personal injury verdict in a jury trial.* In the past few years, recovery for firm clients have also included a seven-figure settlement in a wrongful death matter and a seven-figure settlement in a products liability case.*

Paymon has served on the Board of Governors for the Consumers Attorneys of California and on its Legislative and Education committees. He has also been a member of the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles were he has served on the Public Affairs and Education committees. Paymon is the co-founder and past president of the Downtown LA Bar Association.

Paymon graduated from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles where he earned his Juris Doctor. While in law school, he was the editor-in-chief of the Loyola Journal Digital Law Student Magazine. Paymon completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine where he graduated with recognition, obtaining a degree in Criminology, Law & Society.

Paymon’s hobbies including hiking in nature, photography, watching documentaries, studying psychology and learning about the world.
